Elgin Crossroads, Elgin, Texas

The Elgin Depot Museum is located in the Union Depot at 14 Depot Square. The Depot was built in 1903. It was named not for the Union Pacific Railroad which now operates trains on the MKT tracks, but because it was used by two railroads, the Southern Pacific and the Katy.

Today it's a museum although the tracks are still used daily. The photo was shot at midday using HDR to caputre and present the shaded details.
