Lakeway, TX 40th July 4th Parade
Lakeway's patriotiatic pride was on display in the City's 40th July 4th Parade! The 2016 edition of the annual city-wide parade stepped off from the Live Oak Golf Course promptly at 8:30 AM. With more than 100 entries representing civic groups, government organizations, elected officials and local businesses, the 2016 edition if the parade was perhaps the largest yet.
The parade began forming by 7:30 AM. The first photos are from my walk through the staging area. The images show the enthusiasm of the entrants clearly abounds.
Parade Chair Vickie Taylor and Police Chief Todd Radford sent each entry off on the parade route with smiles and a wave and best wishes for a good time!
Lakeway residents, dressed in red, white and blue, lined the parade route and expressed their appreciation for all the entries with applause and cheers!
