Favaios is a civil parish of the municipality of Alijó, in northern Portugal. The population is about 1,000. The region is known for its wines, namely, the moscatels like Moscatel de Favaios.

Four corner bread is baked each day by Donna, former maid of Salazar, Portugal's dictator.

Favaios is also known for its Muscatal wine. They reported that they export 30 million bottles each year.

Both the bread and the wine are terrific!
